Membership is granted upon successful registration, payment of annual dues, and fulfillment of the applicable eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n SMRA members are expected to:<\/p>\n Members in good standing enjoy a range of professional and educational benefits, including opportunities to:<\/p>\n SMRA membership is maintained through the payment of annual membership dues. Members in good standing remain eligible for all Society benefits, programs, and member-exclusive opportunities.<\/p>\n Members may use this discount at any conference that begins within their 12\u2011month membership period. If the next conference begins more than 12 months after the membership dues are paid, the membership is automatically extended to the last day of that conference so the member can use their one discount for that membership year.<\/p>\n In all other cases, benefits and discounted event registration rates are only applicable for the 12-month membership period and cannot be rolled over to the upcoming periods without membership renewal.<\/p>\n Membership is personal and may not be transferred or assigned to another individual.<\/p>\n Membership may end if annual dues are not paid. In exceptional circumstances, the SMRA Board of Directors may suspend or terminate membership for cause, following the procedures outlined in the Society’s Bylaws.
